YS Sharmila record-breaking Yatra comes to an end

YS Sharmila is all set to touch the 3,000 km milestone on Monday to bring her record-breaking Maro Prasthanam Yatra to an end. Due to the same, YSR Congress has planned the 'Maha Mugimpu Sabha' on August 4th at Ichapuram in Srikakulam district to celebrate the success of the yatra.
Sharmila kickstarted the walkathon after paying respects to her father and former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy at Idupulapaya Estate on October 18th, 2012. Despite facing a lot of health issues, she never thought of calling off the yatra and proceeded with the only goal to bring Rajanna Rajyam. The kind of hard work and determination she has show during the foot march is praise worthy.
By the time Sharmila neared the end of her marathon walk, none of the records were left to be broken and she shattered the existing records of YS Rajasekhar Reddy's historical 1,450 walk before 2004 polls and Chandrababu Naidu Vastunna Mee Kosam record of 2,817 km. Take a bow Sharmila!
