Not allowed to marry of her own choice, a techie named sunitha committed suicide on Thursday evening in Hyderabad.As per reports, Sunitha was in a relationship with a boy, but the alliance was rejected by her parents. Depressed over this, she committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan.
According to Alwal SI Venkanna, the techie, Sunitha, was the daughter of a retired Navy officer, Surya Krantham. The family has been residing in Jawahar Nagar for the last 20 years. Sunitha was working as engineer in a software company in Hi-Tech city from the last three years.
From few days Sunitha's parents were searching for an alliance. On Thursday, Sunitha, on pretext of ill health, stayed back at home. Her father left for work, while her mother was out shopping with her younger daughter. When they got back home, they found Sunitha hanging from a fan.
Before killing herself, Sunitha had sent a text message, 'Where are you' to an unknown number. That was the last correspondence she had with anyone.
