TRS threatens to stop power to AP offices

After fighting on several issues like Fee reimbursement; PPA’s and EAMCET Counselling ;AP and Telangana are at loggerheads over the issue of power generation in Srisailam Project. Its known that AP Chief minister Chandrabbau wrote letter to Krishna water board asking to suspend power generation at Srisailam.

TS government has strongly opposed the TDP government's move  and said that Chandrababu is making a deliberate attempt to stop power generation.Opposing the decision several Legislators of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi staged a protest demonstration at the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the Tank Bund against the decision of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu

Speaking to media TRS MLA’S expressed anger on Babu and threatened AP government saying the T govt would thwart the power supply to the offices of Andhra Pradesh.Other side Police personal of the two states have been deployed at Srisailam Project as a precautionary measure. MLCs - K. Prabhakar, B. Venkateshwarlu, Bhanu Prasad, Yadav Reddy, K.R. Amos, Saleem, P. Sudhakar Reddy and Jagadishwar Reddy and MLAs Koppula Eshwar, Laxma Reddy, Gongidi Sunita, Kanaka Reddy and Venkateshwarlu, accompanied by party cadres organized the protest.

The AP government has stopped the power generation at srisailam project to make sure that  drinking water would be available for Rayalaseema region.
