Chandigarh court here has issued a notice to Bollywood actor Aamir Khan seeking his response on his promotion of homosexuality on his popular TV show 'Satyamev Jayate'. Court ordered to give his justification by December 19 on this notice.
The issue triggered when Aamir Khan faced a question during the episode of the program, a clinical expert pointed out: “If I asked you today to not look at women, but consider men sexually, would you be able to do it? Then why expect that of a [homosexual] boy or girl?”. The reply of Aamir Khan which triggered advocate Mandeep Kaur to file a petition on Khan.Kaur alleged that Aamir Khan's behavior on his show 'Satyamev Jayate' was a violation of the Supreme Court order on homosexuality. She requested court to treat Khans behaviour as contempt of action on SC orders.
The advocate expressed her dissatisfaction over Khan no reply on early notice which demanded unconditional apology from Aamir khan on his acts.
