Congress MP Sabbam Hari who is a strong supporter of YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy resigned protesting the move of Centre to divide the state. He said Congress is digging its own grave in the state and very thought of AP would be divided into two parts is painful. He also commented Congress is playing vote bank politics and the decision to announce statehood would no way ensure power to the party in the Telangana region.
Sabbam Hari fumed at Union Minister Chiranjeevi for appealing to the leaders to abide by the decision of High Command and said the day would come when he would be burnt by people's anger for disrespecting the sentiments of the region.
Later, Sabbam blasted TRS Chief KCR for his controversial remarks of Andhra employees should vacate Telangana region and said KCR will be thrown out of Telangana one day.
The senior MP opined that the so-called high powered committee proposal aimed at doing justice to both the regions is only to cheat the people and appealed not to believe such promises.
