Film Crew running away from Renu Desai

Just few days after the news of her foraying into Marathi Industry as a producer came to light, Renu Desai has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Apparently, Renu Desai is producing the Marathi film 'Mangalashtake Once More' and her high handed attitude on the sets has been prompting the important crew members to walk away. Already, assistant director Tejas Kulkarni and executive producer Shrirang Paripatyadar have bid adieu to the project. "I decided to quit as we have few disputes at the creative level. My way of working is different from that of Renu Desai," told Tejas.

Even the film's cameraman Pooja Gupta who isn't happy with the aggressive nature of Renu Desai left the sets after a major tiff and ever since then the shooting has been stalled. It is learnt that Renu has the habit of criticizing everyone's work and this kind of behaviour is landing her in more troubles.

When contacted, Renu opined that Marathi Industry is less professional when compared to the South. "People here are very talented and hard-working, but most of them lack professionalism. I have to be harsh and sack few of them as they failed to improve despite repeated warnings," she defended.
