Sweeping more than 65 seats in the total of 70 seats, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Admi Party saw a landslide victory in Delhi today. In a big blow BJP CM candidate of New Delhi and former IPS Kiran Bedi has lost to AAP leader SK Bagga  in Krishna Nagar constituency.Bagga won on Bedi with difference of more than 2000 votes.

Krishan Nagar has been a BJP bastion since 1993 and party senior leader won the seat five times consecutively. But Kiran Bedi losing election from the stronghold has stunned many including political pundits.

"I have not lost, the BJP has lost.  I gave it my best. BJP is a national party, it should introspect on why it has lost," said Bedi responding on the defeat.

Kiran Bedi joined BJP weeks ago and was quickly declared its presumptive Chief Minister. Bringing Kiran Bedi as its face in Delhi polls, the BJP had thought that it would be able to make a mark yet again like it did in all the elections in recent past. But all th edreams shattered and many calling th edefeat as worst ever performance of BJP in recent times.
