MP Son on 14 Days Remand to Chanchalguda jail

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on Tuesday ordered 14 days remand to Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav's son Aravind Yadav and his 3 friends for assaulting a Police Constable on duty.

Aravind Yadav and his friends manhandled constable G Vamshi when he objected to Holi celebrations on the main road at Golla Kidki area as the vehicles are coming to a standstill, creating huge inconvenience to the public. The constable who suffered injuries has been taken to Osmania Hospital.

Police registered cases against the MP's son and 3 others under sections 332 (Not allowing a public servant from discharging his duty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A special team of South Zone police took the four accused into custody and produced in Nampally court. Later, they were shifted to Chanchalguda jail.
