The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is likely to face desertion on a large scale in Telangana region in the coming days .If sources to believed many leaders and public representatives from the party are ready to join either the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) or the Congress

Already the party has faced the big blow with the exit of Jukkal MLA.Amidst speculations on the possible exodus from TDP to TRS, Jukkal MLA from TDP Hanmanth Shinde on Sunday said he would join the pro-division party.Shinde met TRS president K Chandrasher Rao and announced that he will be joining in TRS

The exodus is not stopping with shinde. It is learnt that six  more TDP MLAs  are on the way out, say sources. According to sources, Adilabad MP and TDP Polit Bureau member Ramesh Rathod is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).Sources say that one TDP MLA each from Nizamabad and Karimnagar is also likely to enter TRS in the coming days.

The joining of important leaders from TDP will in all probability be a big pro-Telangana publicity affair at Hyderabad to be held any day between December 20 and 26.

If this happens, the TDP will be weakened considerably in Telangana and scope for further defections close to elections will increase. It may be recalled that already Ramesh Rao, Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, Gampa Govardhan and Jogu Ramanna, venugopalachari have joined the rose brigade.
