Telugu based Tamil hero Vishal is having good market in South region. His last movie ‘Avan-Ivan’ turned out to be an average and he is keen to make amends and back to success track.
Now vishal is getting ready with his upcoming film ‘Palnadu’. The movie is releasing today on the eve of Deepavali, but its original Tamil version, Pandiya Nadu has got a setback in Karnataka.Unfortunately, the Tamil version of the film will not see its release in Karnataka as sandalwood film chamber imposed a temporary ban on Tamil movies.
Tamil movies, which enjoy huge popularity in Karnataka, are facing a temporary ban in the state this week, as it prepares to celebrate Kannada Rajyothsava on last Friday.
Another reason for the ban is the worsening tension between the two states over the Cauvery river-water sharing dispute. Three big-budget Tamil movies - Arrambam, All in All Azhagu Raja and Pandiya Nadu - will particularly suffer as a result of the ban.
Tamil heroes have huge market in Karnataka - a successful movie can earn up to Rs 10 crore in the state.
