Chief Minister Raman Singh said Thursday that the BJP was all set to retain power in Chhattisgarh, with a stunning electoral win.
"The BJP will stun everyone Sunday with the highest ever figure in the 90-member house," Raman Singh told the media at the airport after arriving from New Delhi.
"I disagree with exit poll outcomes though all have predicted a BJP victory in Chhattisgarh either marginally or heavily," he said.
Raman Singh, who has headed a BJP government in Chhattisgarh since December 2003, said: "People will get stunned on Dec 8 when the EVMs start coughing up (votes) in favour of the the BJP."
Chhattisgarh went to the polls in November-December along with Rajasthan, Delhi, Mizoram and Madhya Pradesh.
Results of four of the states barring Mizoram will be declared Sunday.
