Despite hurdles, Kamal declares May 1st

Update: 2015-04-07 16:00 GMT
“Uttama Villain” is facing some troubles of sort. Some VHP leaders have approached Chennai police commissioner to ban the release of this Kamal Haasan starrer, citing that the lyrics in a particular song are offensive and may hurt sentiments of Hindus, especially worshippers of God Vishnu. All these happening haven't bothered Kamal in any manner.

Calling that May 1st is his day at box office, Kamal’s team announced that “Uttama Villian” will be releasing on that day. As the film garnered U certificate from Censor Board, it’s hitting with full josh on May 1st without any competition from other Tamil films.

If Tamil release is confirmed, then Telugu release is also ensured as that date is for the now void with no Telugu flick occupying the slot.
