Deva Katta backed critics about Negative reviews

Update: 2014-07-01 07:43 GMT
Actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya-starrer Telugu actioner “Autonagar Surya”, which released Friday, managed to rake in only Rs. 5.8 crore in its opening weekend in Andhra Pradesh. The negative mouth talk showing effect on movie collections and the numbers got deteriorating day by day.

The blame was squarely put on the commercial elements in the second half along with comedy which looked very substandard. Due to the extreme negative feedback the comic portions in the film have been deleted with immediate effect but it didn’t helped the film .

However, the film director Dev Katta seems optimistic about the box office result of the movie and pretty confident that ANS will do well in the coming days.

Talking about negative reviews all over about his film, director wrote on his social page
He posted: “I don’t agree wth all d frnds who criticise ratings & critics. prasthanam was not rated above 3. so no one does it on purpose. When there is life in a movie, it will find itself no matter what. I respect the fact everyone is doing their job as best they can. One thing I find common btwn critics & flmmakrs is tht v both face arrows..bt stndng on opp ends whn a movie releases:)”

We too hope that Dev Katta wins eventually
