It is already known that honest IAS officer DK Ravi of Bangalore, who has died in mysterious circumstances last Monday, has now become a bone of contention for top producers in Kannada Film Industry.
The moment Ravi’s death news came out, many top producers of Sandalwood have rushed to film chamber to register this title “DK Ravi” and “Deputy Commissioner Ravi”. Ravi is known as working Deputy commissioner of Commercial tax department in Kollur region and made nearly 100 crores tax collections on behalf of government.
Sandalwood film chamber however hasn't entertained all these applications of producers who want to cash on DK Ravi’s death. “His death is a shock and people haven’t forgotten this unfortunate and cruel incident. How can we sanction that title now for people who want to cash on it?”, the Film Chamber asked.
