Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor of Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah Stunned university students with his shocking comments on Femal student access to university library. He supported university decision to not to allow female student in to university’s central library cautioning if they come that would cause “four times more boys” to come there increasing women harassment's in campus.

Zameer was made these comments during new students union body oath taking ceremony in reply to one of the students question. Even Women's College principal Naima Gulrez said: "We understand the demand for access to the library. But have you girls ever seen the library? It is jam-packed with boys. If girls too were to be present in it, the discipline issue might crop up.". She tried her best to back Mr Zameer but the outrage in student union made her to silent. But university authorities supported Zameer's decision in view of past incidents over girls like harassment, chain snatching and eve teasing etc.
