Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao never completes his speech at film related functions without making some sensational statements. He was the chief guest for Srikanth's upcoming film Mondodu that took place Yesterday.
Dasari expressed his helplessness on the theatre mafia in the state. "In olden days, Acquiring the call sheets of actors used to be tough. Today, getting the theatres for exhibiting small films have become a big issue. The release dates of big ticket films have been going for a change frequently and these developments are having a huge impact on the small flicks. I feel sad that I am still alive to see all this happen. I wish Mondodu gets a smooth release with sufficient theatres," said Dasari.
Most of the theatres in AP are in the control of few big producers who are dictating terms to producers on when to release their films and the screen count.
