The then revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao who is facing charges for his alleged role in Vanpic scam is facing tough time. Recently Dharmana challenged CBI in court that there is no need to arrest him. But it looks like CBI counsel is not going to leave him at any cost.
Though minister Dharmana Prasada Rao stated that he issued all the orders in Vanpic project during 2009 only after consulting Cabinet, it looks like CBI Counsel is not ready to buy this argument. CBI lawyer Ashok Banu argued in court that being a people’s representative Dharmana resorted to serious crimes by sanctioning lands to Vanpic at cheaper rates. If Court responds in CBI’s favour, then Dharmana might get behind bars in no time. Analysts say that Congress party is falling in its grave in the process of trapping Jagan.
Other ministers who are facing orders from Supreme Court to come clear on those 26 GOs are still in fear if they will also go to jail due to the policies of Cong high-command. The future of all these minister is getting dark with each passing day.
