Former Actress and MP Jaya Bachchan raised objection over Radio Jockeys of private FM Channels mimicking MPs. She opined its the responsibility of the Jockeys to ensure their language and content doesn't hurt anyone.
Particularly, Jaya Bachchan found fault with using objectionable language by Radio Jockeys while speaking about the Members of Parliament. "The members of the house should be respected. Making fun of the leaders in the country is no fun and strictly objectionable," she told.
Finally, Jaya clarified she isn't against satire but the objectionable language. She is now a Rajya Sabha member.
Soon, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar intervened to inform the MPs government is looking into the action and appropriate action would be taken against the guilty.
