In a statement at public meeting , Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has said the TRS government will takeover all the encroached lands in the city with out any mercy.
Speaking to audience in IDH colony inauguration CM KCR had delivered sensational comments on the encroacher's. As per the state government records almost 75 percent of government owned lands are in control of private persons. Many of them encroached by political leaders. Various ruling parties in tried little to take any action on them. Some times government filed weak petition in courts turned its benefits to encroacher. Its a big question, will KCR stick to his words and will he show some progress in this?. Or he will be like other CM's only? time has to decide.
But Sources said the Chief Minister asked revenue, GHMC and other departments to identify encroachers and initiate measures to evict them, both forcibly and legally. Let's see how its will move in future.
