Nobel Prize Winner offers help to AP & T Govts

Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, has offered help to AP and Telangana in tackling exploitation of children.

Speaking to the media persons at the press club in Hyderabad, Satyarthi opined the two Telugu States were destination of Child Trafficking. He wishes to work with the Government of these neighbouring states to formulate guidelines to help prioritise child rights.

The Nobel Laureate welcomes some the recent court judgements and government action towards protecting the child rights. He, however, isn't happy with the current Child Labour Act and hopeful to see it gets amended in the next Parliament session. He believes the existing Act is against Right to Education and Juvenile Justice Act. Pointing that children are  sold for less than cattle in India, He demands of ban on all forms of labour till the age of 14.
