Medak MP Vijayashanti thanked her so-called brother and TRS leader KCR for suspending her from the party. "I thank my brother KCR and other leaders who worked with me all these years," she wrote, in her open letter.
Vijayashanti, however, refused to agree that she had resorted to any anti-party activities. According to her, the only thing she has done is to say statehood is possible only because of the sacrifices of Telangana martyrs.
The suspension of Vijayashanti is an expected one. While Vijayashanti wishes to contest again from Medak constituency in 2014 polls, KCR is planning to field another leader here. Due to the friction over the MP ticket, they have parted ways.
Although she hasn't mentioned about her future course of action, Vijayashanti might soon join the Congress party and she is already in talks with several leaders in the National party.
