J Ramakrishna who is representing 6th Ward in the Secunderabad Cantonment alleged that the TDP MP used his powers to make SCB lay an underground drainage line to his function hall (Mallareddy Function Hall, Bowenpally) and connected it to the sewer main of Soujanya residential colony.

Pointing out that SCB Authorities have imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 and threatened to file criminal case against a resident for laying sewer line sans permission, Mr. Ramakrishna questioned why was Malla Reddy spared despite violating the norms for personal gains.

Soon, Brig AS Negi ordered SCB CEO Sujatha Gupta to conduct an inquiry into the allegations against MP and submit a report at the earliest.
