Aam Admi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal has apologised for quitting as Chief Minister of Delhi just after 48 days in office. He vows not to repeat the mistake again as the AAP Leader appeals Delhites to offer his party a clear majority.
Arvind Kejriwal: "People of Delhi felt our actions have let them down. Though we did lie or steal something, People got hurt because of our actions. It was a mistake. So, I apologise".
AAP which bagged 28 seats in 70-member Delhi Assembly in 2013 Polls formed the Government with the support of Congress. Kejriwal resigned mid way and appealed EC for a fresh elections but that didn't happen very soon. Later, The AAP Chief contested against Narendra Modi in Varanasi Lok Sabha Constituency in 2014 General Elections. Of course, He was defeated by a huge margin by NaMo.
