'Rabhasa' pre-release business is anywhere between Rs 46-50 crore. Is a danger sign or a wake up call for the Young Tiger?
In fact, NTR doesn't have a Rs 50 crore film to his credit and his highest tossing film till date is 'Baadshah' (Rs 47 crore) which is also the only film in the Rs 40 crore club for him. Now, How can Junior justify his films doing a pre-release business of more than Rs 45 crore? At the end of the day, It will be buyers who has to suffer if the film fails to become his biggest commercial hit.
The huge gap between the pre-release business and actual box office potential is always a dangerous sign. What happened in the case of 'Rabhasa' is surely a wake-up call for Jr NTR. He should either concentrate on improving his market or educate the exhibitors & distributors about his box office stamina. Hope, The Nandamuri Hero gives it a thought for a better future!
