Bangladesh Cricket reached new heights with a series win against India during the recent tour of Men-in-Blue. But the neighbouring country's media failed to celebrate success in a right manner.
Prothom Alo, a leading newspaper in Bangladesh, printed an ad with a distasteful picture showing Team India cricketers (Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and Ravichandran Ashwin) standing in a row with their head half-tonsured. Bangladesh star bowler Mustafizur Rahman was seen holding a pen knife on the billboard which reads: 'Tiger Stationery, Made in Bangladesh, Murtafiz Cutter is available here in Stadium Market, Mirpur, Dhaka' and the Team India players hold a banner which reads: 'We have used it, you can use too'. This ad created an uproar on Social Media and it's against true sportsmanship.
