Rumors about actress Jeevita arrest circulated in media and with the court order many thought Jeevita will be sent to Jail. But court issued her bail and finally Jeevitha came forward to media to clarify on the matter.
Speaking to scribes along with her lawyer Jeevitha said, “There is no truth in the rumours that court has sentenced 2 years jail term for me. They asked to deposit Rs 25 lakhs as security and if we fail to pay that amount, then we will be sentenced for imprisonment. The case is about the payment of Evadaithe Nakenti movie. We produced the film with help of Sama Chandrasekhar Reddy. It was already seven years and he has forged some documents and filed a case against us. I request him for a fair fight. We are planning to approach higher courts and we will go to high court or Supreme Court on this case.”
The case was pending since years in the court and the hullabaloo may not end in near future with Jeevitha approaching higher court.Earlier in the day, the court sentenced while responding to a petition filed by producer Shekar Reddy stating that she gave Rs.22 lakhs cheque to him for a settlement of loan taken to make ‘Evadayithe Nakemiti’ movie. She reportedly cried on the premises of the court and said that she was innocent.
