T-CM K Chandra Sekhar Rao is still not in a mood to excuse the TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy Channels. After maintain healthy silence over the issue all these days KCR finally reacts on blockage of two telugu news channels in Telangana.KCR has informed that he had no role in the blocking of TV channels in the Telangana state.
Yesterday KCR organized media meet to reveal the crucial decisions of cabinet.In his press meet after the cabinet meeting, KCR was queried by some media persons about the ban of the TV channels.
KCR said, “Government has no role whatsoever in this ban issue. It is the decision taken at the discretion of the MSOs. There is no role of the state government in transmission of the TV channels through MSOs. Moreover, in the present case, the government has not issued any kind of instructions to any MSO or any other association to allegedly stop or close the telecast of any TV channel in Telangana and no orders were issued by the state government to stop the transmission of ABN Andhra Jyothi channel or any other channel’’
However he ignored the other question from a journalist whether government will take action on the MSOs on this lawful act. Despite of pressures from union minister Javadekar, political parties, journalist associations and other NGO organizations, KCR remained tough and tight lipped.
