Just few days after Mahesh Babu announced that he is looking forward to do more films with 14 Reels Entertainment, The Producers Trio came up with a proposal of Rs 100 crore budget flick with the Superstar.
Apparently, 14 Reels Entertainment paid a huge price by spending Rs 70 crore for an experimental flick like '1 - Nenokkadine' directed by Mahesh Babu. However, this debacle hasn't restricted them from investing more. Instead, they are keen on signing a commercial director who could take the film to the masses rather than the promising filmmaker who is capable of reaching out to only intellectuals this time.
Hence, 14 Reels Entertainment put the Rs 100 crore proposal before Mahesh Babu and Shankar during the ace filmmaker's recent visit to Hyderabad for gracing 'Aagadu' audio launch.
However, Both Mahesh and Shankar are yet to take a final call even though both of them were keen on teaming up for a project in the near future.
