Many expected Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections in Tollywood to be held in cordial and friendly manner and election is unanimous as it used to happen earlier.However surprisingly politics entered in MAA elections shocking all. The elections turned hot debate among film circles and finally Rajendra Prasad gang emerged victorious by defeating Jayasudha.
Now once again the debate on elections come to fore. According to sources actor O Kalyan yet again filed a petition challening MAA election in the city civil court. Responding on his petition the court issued notices to President Rajendra Prasad, former president Murali Mohan and to Sivaji Raja. The charges of the petition are yet to be known but many opine that the actor challenged election of Rajendra Prasad as MAA president.
Previously the petition filed by the same actor had halted the MAA results. Before elections Kalyan filed a petition in the Court urging it to postpone the elections as irregularities were taking place in MAA elections. Admitting the petition, Court served a notice to present MAA president Murali Mohan and general secretary and halted the result of elections.
