A Kalahasti-based artist Ramesh Gurazada with the support of actors Manchu Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu has presented one large poster to Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR). It is special because it compiles various film posters and images from movies of the legendary actor.
The handmade poster, which measures 18 ft by 4 ft, was sponsored by Manchu Mohan Babu and his son Vishnu. It was presented as a birthday gift to ANR, who recently turned 90.
"It took me six months to complete this giant poster which is 18 ft by 4 ft in size. Mohan Babu and Vishnu sir wanted to express their love and respect for ANR through this poster. It has been made in such a way that when you look at it from a certain distance, you see the image of Lord Vishnu and Ram," Gurazada told IANS.
"It was nice to be appreciated by a legend. He loved my work and that's my biggest reward. Mohan and Vishnu were very patient with me and never rushed me to complete it. Had it not been for their support, I wouldn't have completed it," he added.
ANR, who has starred in over 200 Telugu films, is currently shooting for upcoming Telugu drama "Manam".
