Though Trisha won accolades for her role recently in Ajith’s Yennai Arindaal, but the flick hasn’t scored a hit. She might have signed a horde of flicks, but still a hit matters. Surprisingly as she is expecting a hit from “Boologam”, the flick got banned from release.
As producer Aascar Ravichandran failed to repay the loan taken from Indian Overseas bank to produce “Boologam”, the bank filed a petition in The Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Chennai and requested to issue an interim stay on the film. DRT has issued the ban now, until producer clears debts.
Boologam has Jayam Ravi and Trisha playing the lead roles. Though it was to be released in 2014, financial issues hindered the chances.
