It is known that Akkineni Nagarjuna and his first wife Lakshmi got divorced after the birth of Naga Chaitanya. In fact, Chaitu used to stay with her mother in Chennai until he decided to choose acting as his career.
When asked what was the reaction of his Mom after watching 'Manam', Naga Chaitanya replied: "She liked the film, especially the flashback episode where I play the role of a husband & father."
Naga Chaitanya's next release is going to be 'Oka Laila Kosam'. He is also eagerly waiting for the release of 'Autonagar Surya' which was stalled because of financial issues.
Chaitu is making sure he has at least 2 releases a year. This year its going to be 'Manam' and 'Oka Laila Kosam'. If everything falls in place even 'Autonagar Surya' might release in the second half of 2014.
