Tamil hero Vishal sustained serious injuries while shooting for an action sequence in the film 'Poojai'. The accident happened while the actor was asked by the choreographer to jump from an over bridge to a car parked below. He had 20 stiches on his left hand and this mishap brought the shoot to a halt.
'Poojai' is a power-packed action entertainer directed by Hari who is known for films like Sammy, Singham franchise and Aaru. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead and this is her 3rd film in Tamil. Her past two releases '3' and '7th Sense' didn't fare well at the Box Office. Music of the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
