The Andhra Pradesh assembly Today rejected the AP Re-organisation Bill by a voice vote.
Speaker Nadendla Manohar placed the resolution moved by chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in House and called for a voting on the T-Bill. As majority of the members felt division shouldn't happen, T-Bill got rejected in the Assembly. Speaker immediately announced that the resolution was passed and adjourned the house sine-die.
In his resolution, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy appealed President Pranab Mukherjee not to refer the T-Bill to Parliament as its improper.
As the Assembly turned down the T-Bill, The decision should be taken by President whether to refer it to Parliament or not. The rejection of Bill has caused enough embarassment to the Union Government.
