Finally the confusion has been cleared. From few days the confusion as well as the controversy has sparked off whether AP government will celebrate its formation day on November 1st or June 2nd.Now the state cabinet has officially decided to celebrate state formationon June 2 nd.
Andhra Pradesh state Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was concluded a short while ago and it takes some crucial decisions in the meeting.
The AP state was formed on Nov 1 in 1956 with the amalgamation of then existing states of Andhra and Hyderabad. On June 2, 2014 Andhra Pradesh formally split into two with the creation of Telangana state.
The cabinet mainly discussed about the land pooling for AP capital.As per the decision taken in cabinet Government will not force the farmers to handover their lands but try to convince them offering attractive packages to their lands. Rs.25, 000 per acre/ per annum for a period of 10 years will be paid to farmers.
So both telugu states will have same formation day and November 1 st was the history from Now.
