The public brawl between Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan with a security guard and members of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) at the Wankhede Stadium after an IPL Match on May 16th in the year 2012 is known to one and all.
The Marine Drive Police recorded the statement of Shahrukh Khan at the Mumbai police gymkhana.
Earlier, Maharashtra Commission for Protection of Child Rights directed the Cops to lodge a case against Shahrukh Khan for allegedly using filthy and abusive language in the presence of children. It was then Police took legal opinion of Advocate General (AG) and announced they weren't bound to file a case based on the recommendations of Child Rights Commission. The Cops, however, clarified an independent investigation will be conducted and a case of offence will be registered if they find truth in the allegations.
Shahrukh Khan denied all the allegations and went on to say the issue began when one of the security personnel had pushed the children who were with him.
