Comedian and former minister Babu Mohan on Sunday quit Telugu Desam Party. The actor-turned-politician openly announced to media that he was resigning to the primary membership of TDP and would announce his future coarse of action after consulting his followers.
Although he didn't make his intention clear, Reports are abuzz that Babu Mohan will be joining TRS in the next few days.
Babu Mohan was a two-time MLA from Andole in Medak district. He was elected for the first time in 1998 by-polls and he als retained the seat in 1999 general elections. He was a Labour minister in Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet during 1999-2004. He however failed to win in any of the elections from his constituency ever since 2004 general elections.
