Update: 2013-08-03 07:50 GMT
Nandamuri Harikrishna is known as the strong supporter of United Andhra Pradesh until now. Just two days after the Centre declared the division of the state, he changed his stand on the statehood issue and voted for Telangana.

In an open letter to the people, Harikrishna said he was accepting the division of state with a heavy heart and its only because of respecting the sentiments of Telanganites. He then blasted AICC chief Sonia Gandhi for doing injustice to one region with the vote bank politics and cautioned that two-eye stand is very dangerous. He opined that the people of one region were dragged to the streets because of the decisions taken by Congress High Command

Seethaiah reminded its the responsibility of centre to make sure that people of all the regions were happy with the bifurcation. He urged to take special care in building the new AP state.
