Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement award at a ceremony in the House of Lords in London. The award constituted by Indo-European Business Forum (IEBF) had presented to Kapil Dev on recognizing his contribution to the sports and for his services to poor people. During this event IEBF praised Kapildev services to the poor people which he do through his Khushii society.
Speaking to audience he had delivered some interesting comments. He said “I am very proud to be Indian. Today India is ready to do business with anybody in the world,” . In addition to that he said ”I used to hate England because they ruled my country but I am happy they gave us the game of cricket, which they can’t play very well, and the English language, which I can’t speak very well,”
IEBF members remembered the moments of world cup 1983. In this Kapil Dev led the team to victory with his tremendous efforts. They had praised Kapil dev services to Cricket.
