Seems Telangana chief minister KCR is not in a mood to mend relations with his counterpart Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu naidu.Ever since they became chief ministers of the sibling Telugu states, both the Chandras have not been seen together. What more, they appear to be squabbling over every issue.
But it was reported that KCR and Babu will meet and share dais at Iftar party thrown by Governor on other day.Both the Chief ministers supposed to took part in the event but the much-expected meet couldn't happen at the Iftar party.Though Chandrababu made it to the meet, KCR gave it a miss.
The reason behind KCR's absence is not known. KCR probably had thought it would be better to skip the meeting rather than face Naidu with an artificial smile on his face. KCR has sent Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Home Minister Nayani Narasimhan Reddy to represent him at the party.
Several other prominent leaders from both the Telugu states were seen chatting away. Leader of the opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made his presence felt at the Iftar's party. Both Chandrababu and Jagan were seen greeting each other.
Neither Naidu nor Jagan stayed at the Iftar for long. After shaking hands with the governor, they went round greeting the other guests and left. One may have to wait for another occasion for both the Chandra’s to shake hands.
