KCR gets Rs 10 crore per year on Agriculture

TRS President K Chandrasehar Rao is expecting to earn not less than Rs 10 crore per year by cultivating vegetables in his 60-acre farm.

On Thursday, KCR explained to the people that farming based on Greenhouse Technology is highly successful and promised to bring a green revolution in Telangana post the division.

KCR grows capsicum, potatoes, bitter gourd and bottle gourd in the farmhouse at Erravalli village in Medak. He revealed 30-acres of land is on his name and the remaining on his son's name.

The TRS chief claimed he took a loan amount of Rs 45 laks from Bank of Baroda to invest on the farm and he has see good profits (Rs 1.5 crore) within one-and-a-half year. This year, he is planning to take Rs 3 crore loan for purchasing new equipment which could do wonders.

In an attempt to effectively counter the allegations levelled against him on the luxurious lifestyle by TDP, KCR took a group of mediapersons to his farmhouse and explained them all these facts.
