Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday met Governor ESL Narasimhan over the power crisis row. He appealed to the Governor to intervene in power issue and ensure Telangana gets its share from Srisailam Power Generation. He also conveyed the decision of Telangana Government to fight the battle in Supreme Court.
KCR pointed out Telangana is yet to receive 120 million units of power from Andhra as per AP Reorganization act. He also raised the point Telangana has the right to use 96 TMC water from Srisailam project and hence there is nothing in power generation.
On the other hand, KCR informed Narasimhan about Telangana Budget sessions that's gonna begin on November 5th.
Irrigation Minister Harish Rao poked fun at Parakala Prabhakar's comments that AP Govt. is unable to understand the Telangana GOs. "I am willing to send an English teacher to explain them the content in the GOs," he added.
