TDP Coordinator Nara Lokesh has inspired a lot of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to adopt villages of Andhra Pradesh during his USA tour. The impact was so much that NRIs expressed their willingness to adopt as many as 780 villages under the Smart Village and Smart Ward programme launched by the state government.

NRIs in San Jose adopted 248 villages
NRIs in Chicago adopted 157 villages
Nara Lokesh seems to be transforming into a full-time politician. His agenda is development of AP at a rapid pace and doing everything he can to win the hearts of Telugus.
