Virat Kohli breaks Sachin's record

With his 127 off 114 balls in the 3rd ODI against West Indies, Indian star batsman Virat Kohli has set many new records. While Kohli's 20th ODI hundred came in his 133rd innings, Sachin took 197 innings to reach this mark. In fact, Kohli is only the 8th player in the history to score 20 ODI Centuries.

Kohli scored 725 runs in ODIs this year to become second highest scorer despite poor form. Srilankan player Kumar Sangakkara in leading run scorer in ODIs so far in 2014.

Apparently, Sachin Tendulkar happens to be the role model of Virat Kohli and he respects the Cricket God so much that he declared he wants to win World Cup 2011 for him.

Analysts say, Only Virat Kohli is capable of breaking Sachin Tendulkar's ODI records and no other cricketer could at least give him a tough competition in this aspect.
