Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar had a glorious career for a period of 24 Years. He, however, regrets not able to offer his services as Captain for India for longer duration.
Sachin captained Team India in the year 1996. He, however, was dropped because of the poor performance of the team. "Cricket is always team work for me. Captain is there to guide, take important decisions but eventually its the batsman who has to score runs and bowlers who has to land the ball in right areas. I was dropped after 13 months and that's disappointing," he told.

He also draws comparison between during his captaincy period and 2011 tours of England & Australia to come to a conclusion Indian Batsman haven't put sufficient runs on board and Bowlers had given away too many runs as well to make things worse.
