Comedian Babu Mohan who recently elected as MLA from TRS party made surprising comments regarding his film chances in Tollywood.
The veteran comedian felt that he have no hopes on getting roles in tollywood as the way state bifurcated. Babu mohan said that it is highly unlikely for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to unite in another 100 years’ time.
“I am not having hopes on getting busy in Tollywood. If Telangana producers make more movies, I will get busy again. It doesnt mean that I cannot with Andhra producers but the impact of bifurcation will surely be felt. Personally, I like both the states.” says Babu Mohan
The comment of Babu Mohan comes into discussion in the wake of TRS treatment to Andhra settled film families in Hyderabad.
Originally hails from Khammam district, Babu Mohan started his political career by contesting from Andole, from where he won two times as an MLA. He also worked as the Minister for Labour in Chandrababu Naidu cabinet.
He did not win from the constituency after 2004 due to the changed political equations there, and faced defeat. He was defeated twice by deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha. After shifting loyalties to TRS he once again won from the constituency by defeating then Deputy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha.
