Vikram-Shankar's visual wonder 'I' Tamil & Hindi versions are going to hit the screens on January 9th, 2015. However, The release of Telugu version for Pongal is doubtful.
Reportedly, Few Producers who have releases lined-up in the next few weeks raised the issue of how could a Tamil biggie be released when there are Straight Telugu films during the festival season.
As per the rule, Dubbing Films willn't be allowed to release in a festival season which most Telugu biggies target to set the cash registers ringing.
However, The Other Group which acquired the theatrical rights of 'I' quoted there is 5 days gap between Shankar's film and Gopala Gopala, NTR's Temper and Gunasekhar's Rudramadevi going out of Pongal race already.
Film Chamber President NV Prasad himself acquired 'I' Telugu Theatrical rights for whooping Rs 30 crore. Hence, Anything could be possible!
