Tamil actor Vikram considers Isha Sharvani, his co-star in forthcoming film "David", very professional and committed.
"I was taken aback by Isha's commitment as an actor. She plays a deaf and mute girl in the film and I still remember even before the start of a particular scene, she would sink into her character and play dumb and deaf," Vikram told IANS.
"There have been instances where I was talking to Isha while shooting and she wouldn't reply because she was already playing her character by then," he added.
The film also stars Jiiva, Tabu, Lara Dutta, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vinay Virmani.
While Jiiva will feature only in the Tamil version of "David", the rest of the cast will remain the same in both versions of the film.
Bejoy Nambiar has directed the film, co-produced by Getaway Films and Reliance Entertainment. The Tamil and Hindi versions of the film will release Feb 1.
The film's ensemble music has been composed by Dub Sharma, Bramfatura, Anirudh Ravichander, Maatibaani, Modern Mafia, Remo Fernandes and Prashant Pillai.
