MAA President Rajendra Prasad responded positively to the media reports on the dire state of Character Actor Nagayya (Vedam fame).
Soon after knowing about his present situation, Rajendra Prasad offered him financial assistance and monthy pension from MAA.
Nagayya is a native of Siricilla. Inspite of appearing in as many as 10 films post 'Vedam', He wasn't able to make money and was found begging at Filmnagar few days ago.
Even since he won as MAA President, Rajendra Prasad kept his promise of offering Pension to as many poor artists as possible. By offering helping hand to Nagayya, He is now earning a lot of respect from Industry and Common People. Hats off to Rajendra Prasad!
