Ram Charan himself invited Krishna Vamsi on to the stage to speak a few words as a mark of respect to his director. He went on to say KV is an asset for Telugu Film Industry.

Krishna Vamsi: "I am the kind of person who would talk/praise just for the heck it. The past 3-4 years has been a very mean period, lean period and loan period for me. People used to turn their faces when they see me, comment so badly and didn't treat me well. It was time I was to take a drastic decision. I didn't sleep the whole night thinking if I failed/fallen/died as director or should I have to fight back. If I want to bounce back what should be my next step! The first person to come in my mind is Annayya."

"I thought making a film with Charan will be a good move. Through Charan's manager, I seeked his appointment and within one hour I got a call from him asking me to come to Annapurna Studios. Soon after I entered the make-up room, he got up from his chair and offered me a chair. That's moment I felt I was still alive! Soon after narrating the point for 10 minutes, He has given his nod to the project immediately and asked to narrate the same to Annayya. The very next day, Chiranjeevi called me to his house and said 'Nuvvu Emi Cheppavo Telidhu, Vaadu Emi Vinnado Telidhu, Nenu Eppatinuncho Neetho Cinema Cheddam Anukuntunnanu, Ee Cinema Manam Chstunnam. Ippudu Cheppu Katha' After 20 min narration, Annayya too has given his nod".

"The teaser is just a sample. 'GAV' is a 2-and-half-hour Telugu film which will make everyone happy. It will remain for at least 50 years. I am not saying it because of over-confidence or arrogance. I am saying it as I known the material and what all that's been going into it".
